What People Say

I have been coming to the food pantry for more than three years. If it wasn’t for the people that work here as volunteer’s with no pay I would be hungry. They are always nice and help by teaching us about a lot of things. They also tell us about Jesus. My favorite part is coming in and having a cup of coffee and a cookie and meeting in the back room to learn. Sometimes we just have church and sometimes we talk about budgeting or whatever. They give us their time because they love us.

Coming to Second Chance Ministry Center has helped me so much. Sometimes I just cannot make my food last all month. I don’t know what I would do if I could not come here to get help. They tell you that God loves you and they do too.

I have been blessed by knowing the people here for many years. I love the classes because I learn a lot of new things including recipes to make the food that they give us. We are made to feel like family by everyone. I pray that they will always have what they need to keep this place open.
